The work packages in detail

In the project’s initial phase, the transport policy goals (WP2) and the needs of customers with regard to their motivation and the prerequisites for a change in mobility behaviour (WP3) will be elaborated. These two goals and requirements/ needs will be merged and appropriate measures derived such that an overall optimum of the transport system can be achieved (WP4).

The next step is the joint definition and development of standardised technical and procedural interfaces (WP5).

Illustration Projektplanung

After developing these basic elements and defining the procedural and technical implementation in detail, they will be integrated into the "systems" of the mobility service providers and the "MaaS system operators" and the technical prerequisites for the pilot applications must be ensured (WP6).

The results will be deployed, tested on a pilot basis (WP7) and the effect and transferability measured (WP8 and WP9) in the planned pilot regions.
For the duration of the project, the project will be coordinated by means of professional project management (WP1) and structured communication of the project results will be pursued (WP10).

Overview of the work packages
WP No. Work package name Planned result
1 Project management Timely achievement of the planned project goals while adhering to the resources provided
2 Strategic and organisational prerequisites for managing intermodal mobility Outcome document on the strategic and organisational prerequisites for managing intermodal mobility in the pilot regions is available
3 User potential Assessment of potential changes and description of user requirement profiles for each pilot region
4 Framework conditions and control parameters for intermodal mobility management Strategic and organisational framework conditions are coordinated with user needs, defined and any necessary decisions taken
5 Defining interface standardisation Interfaces and underlying processes are documented, standards defined, an implementation plan drawn up and requirements specified
6 Implementation for new mobility services Devised mobility services are implemented in the respective pilot regions with relevant new technical developments
7 Implementation in the pilot regions The technical components (backend and frontend) are implemented in the pilot regions
8 Empowerment and transferability Implementation criteria, recommendations, implementation instructions are summarised and documented in a manual
9 Monitoring and impact assessment Monitoring of goal attainment and impact assessment of the project results in the three pilot regions as well as impact analysis on three levels: process effects, traffic effects and consequential effects
10 Dissemination Structured communication in the pilot regions and involvement of stakeholders during project implementation as well as continuous publication of the project results
